Build the skills for this role
Prioritize hotel sales fundamentals: CRM discipline, RFP response, negotiation, forecasting with revenue management, and clear written proposals. Build product knowledge of Davidson-managed assets and Miami Beach demand patterns (groups, leisure, corporate travel).
- Walk through a closed group or BT deal: need, rates, obstacles, and handoff to operations.
- Explain how you partner with revenue management on BAR vs. negotiated rates.
- Ask how Davidson structures sales targets and GM Council input for this market.
Strong fit if you sell hotel room nights and groups in a resort metro, stay organized in a CRM, and collaborate with ops-led brands like Davidson Hospitality Group rather than pure corporate SaaS sales.
