Role Overview

As a Beauty and Wellness Consultant at our Seymour location, you're the go-to expert customers rely on to navigate beauty and wellness solutions tailored to their unique needs. In this full-time position, you'll combine product knowledge with genuine care to help shoppers find exactly what works for them—whether they're seeking skincare, haircare, cosmetics, or wellness products—while driving store performance and building lasting customer relationships.

Your Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assess their beauty and wellness needs through active listening and thoughtful questioning
• Provide knowledgeable, unbiased product recommendations across all brands and price points based on customer preferences and skin type
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to build customer confidence in their purchases
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized beauty and wellness section
• Stay current on new products, promotions, and industry trends to offer timely guidance
• Drive store sales goals by suggesting complementary items and loyalty program enrollment
• Represent Walgreens values by modeling professionalism, reliability, and genuine customer care in every interaction

Requirements

• Passion for beauty and wellness products and a genuine interest in helping customers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse customers
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including potential evenings and weekends
• Strong sales orientation with a track record of meeting customer needs and store objectives
• Reliability, attention to detail, and comfort with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
