About the Role

As a Salesperson at Philpott Hyundai, you'll be the face of our dealership, building relationships with customers and guiding them through the vehicle selection and purchase process. This is a full-time position where you'll develop a strong customer base and consistently exceed sales targets by delivering consultative, customer-focused service.

What You'll Do

• Generate customer traffic through active personal outreach, community engagement, referral development, and follow-up on internet inquiries and walk-in visitors
• Greet and qualify customers to understand their transportation needs, budget, and vehicle preferences
• Demonstrate current Hyundai models, highlighting features, benefits, and available inventory to match customer requirements
• Present financing and trade-in options, working closely with management to negotiate terms and close sales
• Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation in a timely, professional manner
• Stay current on Hyundai product lineup, pricing, promotions, and market conditions

What We're Looking For

• Proven automotive sales experience or demonstrated success in a customer-facing sales role
• Strong communication and active listening skills—you excel at understanding customer needs
• Self-motivated and results-oriented; comfortable with performance metrics and sales targets
• Ability to build genuine relationships and follow through on commitments
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and reliability
• Valid driver's license and ability to test-drive vehicles with customers
• Willingness to learn about Hyundai products and stay engaged with evolving sales techniques
