About the Role
Powell Motor Group is a family-owned dealership with over 50 years of success and an outstanding reputation for customer service, innovation, and growth. Representing LDV, Mahindra, KGM, Foton, and LEPAS (launching soon), together with one of Tasmania's largest used vehicle operations, we are seeking a talented Automotive Business Manager to join our team.
What You'll Do
- Manage the finance and insurance processes for new and used vehicles
- Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with finance providers
- Support sales teams in achieving financial targets
- Process and manage customer payments, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in finance and insurance within the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of financial processes, including budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
