About This Position

We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Porter to join our team at LaFontaine Chevrolet Plymouth. As an integral part of our service department, you will play a key role in ensuring that customer vehicles are prepared for servicing and maintenance. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be detail-oriented.

Core Duties

• Assist customers with vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups
• Prepare vehicles for service by checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and other necessary pre-service tasks
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle needs and services
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the service department
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive experience preferred but not necessary
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
