About This Position

BURGA is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our growing team in Kaunas. As an Automation Technician at BURGA, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment systems, from programming and diagnosing Siemens PLC systems (TIA Portal) to configuring and programming HMI systems.

• Diagnose and maintain Profinet and Ethernet industrial networks
• Select, install, and calibrate optical, inductive, and other sensors
• Parameterize, diagnose, and change frequency converters (VFD)
• Perform minor equipment system modifications and modernizations
• Read electrical schematics and diagnose faults at the control level
• Execute other tasks as assigned by the technical supervisor

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment systems, from programming and diagnosing Siemens PLC systems (TIA Portal) to configuring and programming HMI systems. You will also diagnose and maintain Profinet and Ethernet industrial networks, select, install, and calibrate optical, inductive, and other sensors, parameterize, diagnose, and change frequency converters (VFD), perform minor equipment system modifications and modernizations, read electrical schematics and diagnose faults at the control level, and execute other tasks as assigned by the technical supervisor.

What You Bring

We are looking for a candidate with 2-3 years of industrial experience. A strong understanding of Siemens PLC systems (TIA Portal), HMI systems configuration and programming, Profinet and Ethernet industrial networks diagnosis, sensor selection, installation, and calibration, frequency converter parameterization, diagnosis, and change, electrical schematics reading, and fault diagnosis at the control level is required.
