Core Duties

• Clean, preprocess, and explore datasets to prepare clean inputs for model training
• Implement and iterate basic supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms using common libraries
• Assist in feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model validation experiments
• Document code, results, and performance metrics so teammates can reproduce and review work
• Collaborate with data and software engineers to integrate trained models into existing pipelines
• Monitor early model outputs, flag anomalies, and suggest straightforward improvements
• Participate in peer code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions on machine learning best practices

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with Python and core machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Understanding of fundamental algorithms, evaluation metrics, and common data-preparation techniques
• Ability to write clean, modular code and use version-control systems like Git
• Strong analytical thinking and clear written and verbal communication
• Willingness to learn quickly, accept feedback, and work productively within a cross-functional team
• Interest in applying AI methods to practical business problems as an Associate Machine Learning AI Engineer
