About the Role
Aligned Talent Acquisition has partnered with a respected law firm in Cleveland to recruit a Associate Attorney who will work with a dynamic team handling high-value real estate matters. You'll represent clients across the spectrum of the real estate industry—from developers and investors to lenders, landlords, and corporate enterprises—providing counsel on commercial transactions that shape the local business landscape.
What You'll Do
- Advise developers, institutional investors, and financial institutions on commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
- Counsel landlords and tenants on lease negotiation, structuring, and resolution of disputes
- Support corporate clients with real estate portfolio management and strategic deal structuring
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, loan documentation, and closing materials
- Conduct thorough due diligence on real property, title, and related transaction matters
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and external professionals to execute complex deals
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with admission to the Ohio bar or eligibility
- Solid foundation in real estate law and commercial real estate transactions
- Strong written and oral communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet critical deadlines
- Attention to detail combined with sound legal judgment
- Self-initiative and a collaborative approach to teamwork
Compensation and Location
