As Assistant Store Manager, you'll take ownership of daily store operations and contribute directly to the success of our Hickory Hill retail location. What You'll Do

• Oversee opening, closing, and operational procedures to maintain store efficiency and compliance
• Lead the sales team to achieve store sales targets while ensuring a welcoming, personalized customer experience
• Coach associates through training, feedback, and mentorship to support their professional growth
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and visual merchandising standards throughout the store
• Handle cash reconciliation, point-of-sale operations, and implement loss prevention measures
• Work the sales floor regularly, building customer relationships and modeling J. Jill's service philosophy
• Analyze sales metrics and collaborate with store leadership to identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain store appearance, safety standards, and adherence to company policies

What We're Looking For

• Retail experience in a supervisory, assistant management, or comparable leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team
• Strong customer service orientation and genuine interest in building lasting relationships
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale systems and comfort with numbers and reporting
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and seasonal peaks
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift, and remain active throughout your shift
