About This Position

We are seeking a Volunteer Engagement Assistant Manager/Manager to lead and grow our skills-based volunteering programme. This role plays a key part in advancing access to justice by ensuring the right volunteer skills are recruited, supported, and deployed to meet community needs in a sustainable and impactful way.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the recruitment, onboarding, and support of volunteers with specific skill sets
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify volunteer opportunities that align with community needs
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing volunteers
• Evaluate and improve volunteer programs to ensure maximum impact and sustainability
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of volunteer engagement initiatives

What You Bring

• A proven track record in volunteer management or a related field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Familiarity with community engagement strategies and best practices
