Assistant Manager - Crabtree Valley Mall, Abercrombie & Fitch is a full‑time position based in Raleigh, Wake County, where you’ll lead store performance and team development.

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager you partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, ensure operational excellence, and create a welcoming shopping experience. You’ll help translate brand vision into everyday store actions while coaching associates to deliver best‑in‑class service.

What You'll Do

• Analyze sales trends and merchandise performance to identify opportunities for growth.
• Provide exceptional customer service by modeling brand standards and coaching the team.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store is ready for business each day.
• Manage daily operations including inventory replenishment, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
• Assist in scheduling, payroll administration, and maintaining proper staffing levels.
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of store associates.
• Collaborate with visual teams to execute floor sets that reflect current collections and promotional calendars.
• Handle customer escalations and feedback to resolve issues promptly and maintain brand reputation.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in retail supervision or assistant management, preferably in apparel or lifestyle brands.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales reports and translate insights into action.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for motivating a diverse team.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering personalized shopping experiences.
• Organizational talent for managing multiple priorities, including opening/closing routines and inventory controls.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in business or merchandising is a plus.
