Assistant Manager – Visalia Mall, Hollister

A&F Stores is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager at our Visalia Mall location — an opportunity to lead retail operations, develop your team, and drive growth at one of Hollister's key California stores.

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager at Hollister Visalia Mall, you'll sit at the intersection of business performance, store operations, and people leadership. This is a hands-on management role where you shape the in-store experience from the floor up — balancing day-to-day execution with longer-term strategic thinking to keep your store performing at its best in Tulare County and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Analyze sales trends and key performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and course-correct quickly
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by modeling and coaching best-in-class service standards
• Own daily store operations including opening and closing routines, floor coverage, and task prioritization
• Support omnichannel fulfillment, including in-store pickup and e-commerce order processing
• Recruit, onboard, and develop store associates — building a team that reflects the A&F brand
• Partner with the Store Manager to execute visual merchandising, product placement, and brand presentation standards
• Maintain inventory accuracy and loss prevention awareness across all store functions
• Communicate business performance, priorities, and associate feedback up and down the leadership chain

What We're Looking For

• Prior retail management or supervisory experience, ideally in a specialty or fashion environment
• Strong people skills — you can coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable with equal confidence
• Comfort working with sales data and translating numbers into actionable floor strategies
• High energy, adaptable approach to a fast-moving retail environment
• Availability to work a flexible full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods
• Genuine enthusiasm for the Hollister and A&F brand aesthetic and customer base
