The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AM Line Cook to join our team at The Elizabeth Hotel and Emporium. This role offers the chance to contribute to a vibrant culinary environment where creativity meets tradition. As an AM Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing breakfast dishes, ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items efficiently and to the highest standard
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health codes and safety regulations
- Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Participate in daily meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new recipes and procedures
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Line Cook or similar role
- Strong culinary skills with proficiency in breakfast preparation techniques
- Aptitude for multitasking and working under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is preferred but not required
