Technical Writer & Trainer

KMC Solutions Inc is seeking a Technical Writer & Trainer to join our United States (nationwide) (nationwide)-based team on a full-time basis. This role combines documentation expertise with instructional design to build scalable, accessible learning systems that enable teams to work more effectively.

Role Overview

You'll take on a dual responsibility: creating crystal-clear written documentation and delivering engaging training experiences. Working alongside product teams and operational leads, you'll identify knowledge gaps, document processes, and build learning solutions—from written guides to interactive online courses. Your work directly impacts how efficiently teams adopt new systems and maintain service quality across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and operations teams to identify documentation needs and create user-focused support materials
• Develop and refresh procedural documentation, ensuring accuracy through stakeholder input and systematic review cycles
• Build and sustain a centralized knowledge repository that serves as the organization's single source of truth
• Consult with departmental experts to understand workflows, surface improvement opportunities, and incorporate feedback into revised processes
• Design training programs with clear objectives, working with subject matter experts to validate content accuracy and relevance
• Structure eLearning projects with defined phases, measurable deliverables, and achievable schedules
• Develop comprehensive training materials including course documentation, visual guides, and interactive modules
• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions to ensure employees master new tools and procedures

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience creating technical documentation or training materials
• Strong English language skills with demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal communication
• Background in service-oriented roles involving regular client or customer interaction
• Understanding of how adults learn best, informed by instructional design principles and modern pedagogical approaches
• Talent for presenting information across multiple formats—written, visual, and digital
• Project management background is valued
• Hands-on experience with learning management systems or eLearning authoring tools like 360learning or Percipio strengthens your candidacy
