Role Overview

Bazaarvoice is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team based in Vilnius. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate general ledger accounting records, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and providing financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making within the organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Conduct monthly closing procedures in accordance with company policies and US GAAP standards
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues that may impact the organization's financial performance
• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with accounting principles
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for budgeting, forecasting, and other financial reporting purposes

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar professional certification is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant financial reporting standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
