About the Role

As Private Practice Public Affairs Legal Counsel at Percy Towers, you will operate at the intersection of law, government, and international commerce. Based on-site in Washington, D.C., this position blends regulatory advisory work with complex corporate transactions and public affairs strategy, giving you a varied caseload and direct exposure to high-stakes matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on regulatory compliance and evolving federal policy across multiple industries.
• Structure and support complex corporate and transactional deals, including cross-border arrangements.
• Counsel on cross-border trade matters and international relations considerations.
• Manage government contracts work, from negotiation through compliance.
• Translate legal analysis into clear, actionable public affairs guidance for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law and a J.D. from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory, transactional, or government contracts practice.
• Familiarity with cross-border trade and international relations frameworks.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-counseling skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Washington, D.C., in a fast-moving private practice environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Percy Towers offers a salary range of $435,000 to $485,000 for this role. The benefits package includes health care, retirement plans, paid time off covering both sick and vacation days, parental leave, basic life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, and a discretionary performance component.
