About the Role

As a Midlevel Restructuring & Insolvency Attorney at Percy Towers, you will focus on high-stakes financial restructuring, debt management, and Chapter 11 adjudication. The position is based in Chicago, IL, with the flexibility to work from any of the firm's United States offices. You will play a central part in guiding distressed businesses, creditors, and stakeholders through demanding bankruptcy and reorganization scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in Chapter 11 reorganizations and related insolvency proceedings.
• Structure and execute strategies for corporate debt management and financial restructuring.
• Draft, review, and negotiate documentation tied to high-stakes restructuring matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-office teams on complex bankruptcy litigation.
• Advise debtors, creditors, and other parties on rights, risks, and resolution options.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) with active admission to a relevant state bar.
• Midlevel experience in restructuring, insolvency, or bankruptcy practice.
• Working knowledge of Chapter 11 procedures and debt restructuring frameworks.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to manage demanding matters in a collaborative, in-office Chicago environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base compensation ranging from $235,000 to $365,000, aligned with expertise and regional adjustments.
