Athletics Study Hall Monitor

PolicyTech is hiring a full-time Athletics Study Hall Monitor in Villanova, to help student-athletes stay on track academically inside the Andrew J. Talley Athletic Center.

About the Role

As an Athletics Study Hall Monitor with PolicyTech in Villanova, you will help create a focused, productive learning environment for student-athletes during Mandatory Study Hall and tutoring sessions. This on-site, full-time position is based in the Andrew J. Talley Athletic Center and reports directly to the Office of Academic Support for Athletics, making you a key part of the team that keeps athletes succeeding in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Mandatory Study Hall and scheduled tutoring sessions held within the athletic center.
• Supervise student-athletes throughout each session to keep them engaged and on task.
• Provide oversight for tutors and coordinate the flow of study and tutoring activity.
• Monitor the facility and ensure the study space remains orderly and conducive to learning.
• Apply and uphold program rules, expectations, and academic support guidelines.
• Communicate with and report to the Office of Academic Support for Athletics as needed.

Qualifications

• Comfort supervising students and tutors in a structured academic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the dependability to enforce rules consistently and fairly.
• Reliable, on-site availability for a full-time schedule in Villanova.
• Clear communication skills and a professional, approachable manner with student-athletes.
