Business Leadership Faculty, Part-Time (Adjunct Faculty Pool)

Community College of Philadelphia seeks an experienced business professional to join our adjunct faculty pool as a Business Leadership Faculty member in Philadelphia. This is a part-time position ideal for practitioners who want to bring real-world expertise into the classroom while developing the next generation of business leaders.

About the Role

As an adjunct instructor in our Business Leadership program, you'll teach courses that prepare students for careers in management, organizational development, strategic planning, and business administration. You'll design engaging learning experiences, deliver instruction across multiple course modalities, and mentor students navigating the transition into professional business environments. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to shape career trajectories while maintaining your own professional practice.

What You'll Do

• Teach business leadership courses including organizational behavior, management principles, and related topics
• Develop curriculum materials and assessments that connect theory to workplace application
• Provide feedback and academic mentoring to students from diverse professional backgrounds
• Collaborate with full-time faculty and the business department to maintain program quality
• Hold regular office hours and remain accessible to students
• Participate in department meetings and professional development activities

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree (MBA, MA, or MS) in organizational leadership, human resources, business communication, management, marketing, project management, corporate social responsibility, business administration, hospitality management, or a closely related business discipline
• Minimum six years of professional experience in the business industry
• At least one year of teaching experience (in higher education, corporate training, or community settings)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage diverse learners and adapt instruction to different learning styles
• Commitment to student success and inclusive education
