About This Position

The Steel Plant Administrative Coordinator supports daily plant operations through inventory tracking, purchasing coordination, and production support. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are available and production schedules run smoothly by maintaining accurate data and facilitating communication between departments.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment of supplies
• Coordinate with suppliers for purchasing and delivery of necessary materials
• Support production schedules by managing work orders, tracking progress, and resolving any issues that may arise
• Maintain accurate records and databases related to inventory and production activities
• Facilitate communication between different departments to ensure smooth operations

What We're Looking For

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination within the team
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and databases
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
• A minimum of 2 years of administrative or related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
