About This Position
This position offers opportunities for experienced Class A CDL drivers to join U.S. Xpress - OTR as Over the Road (OTR) Truck Drivers. The role involves driving a dry van in solo operations with an average of 2,000 miles per week. Pay is based on experience, ranging from 52 to 56 cents per mile.
What You'll Do
- Pick up and deliver freight across the United States
- Drive solo OTR routes with consistent and planned schedules
- Maintain a balance between strong miles and home time
- Ensure safe driving practices at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements (Dry Van)
- 1-5 months of OTR experience preferred but not required
- Prior solo driving experience is a plus
- Avoidance of any moving violations in the past 36 months
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug tests and background checks
