Role Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Alt Underground Manager to join NES Fircroft's growing mining operation in Western Australia. Reporting directly to the Mining Manager, this role involves leading a team of Surveyors and Survey Assistants across multiple operational areas while providing technical support and ensuring efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Surveyors and Survey Assistants
• Provide technical guidance and support to the mining operation
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve productivity

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior mining role, preferably in underground management or surveying
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop team members
• Strong technical knowledge of mine surveying techniques and equipment
• Experience with FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) operations is advantageous but not required for this role
• Australian Qualifications Authority (AQF) Level 8 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as Mining Engineering or Surveying
