Position Summary
Bellota Labs is a fast-paced, hypergrowth startup revolutionizing online gaming with ClubWPT Gold. We're seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our Legal team and serve as a trusted, hands-on legal partner across the business. This role involves deep expertise in iGaming and sweepstakes law, with opportunities for real ownership over complex, fast-moving legal work.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic legal advice to support our mission of innovation and game integrity
- Develop and review contracts, agreements, and policies related to iGaming and sweepstakes law
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and mitigate risks
- Advise on intellectual property protection and management strategies
Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in at least one state (bar admission required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in iGaming or related legal fields, with a focus on sweepstakes and compliance
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide practical solutions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in relevant state and federal regulations governing online gaming and sweepstakes
