The Opportunity
San Diego Gulls is seeking a Community Relations Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role will be part-time and based in San Diego, California. As a key member of the organization, you'll play a vital role in enhancing community engagement and fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations
- Organize and coordinate community events and initiatives
- Support marketing and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility
- Assist in the planning and execution of special projects as needed
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to community relations efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in community relations or a similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Aptitude for building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with event planning and coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
