What This Role Involves
The Senior Energy & Transmission Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing energy and transmission programs that support the full lifecycle of Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure. This includes site selection, development, and operations in our global footprint which consists of over 400 datacenters across 34 countries, supported by more than 165,000 miles of fiber optic cable.

- Oversee the implementation and management of energy and transmission programs to support global cloud infrastructure operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and facilities to ensure seamless integration of energy and transmission solutions.
- Analyze data and trends related to energy consumption and transmission to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines for energy and transmission projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to energy management and transmission.
