About the Role
New Avenues For Youth seeks a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to join our Moxie Transitional Housing team in Portland, Oregon. This full-time position offers an annual salary of $60,000 and requires working Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm with some flexibility.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Moxie Transitional Housing, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for youth participants.
- Develop and implement comprehensive programs that support the personal growth and development of young adults in transition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address the needs of residents, including counseling, education, job training, and community engagement activities.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through regular assessments and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes for participants.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by funding agencies and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in youth services, social work, or related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with residents, staff, and community partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data management systems.
- Certification or training in areas such as trauma-informed care, youth development, or mental health preferred but not required.
