Position Summary
We are currently seeking experienced Commercial Kitchen Technicians to join our team at Pine Tree Food Equipment in Salem. As a technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various kitchen equipment including ice machines, walk-in coolers, freezers, ovens, fryers, griddles, and HVAC units.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and repair cold and hot side commercial kitchen equipment
- Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment quickly and effectively
- Work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement in the kitchen's operational efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Experience as a Commercial Kitchen Technician or similar role
- Possession of a gas license (required)
- Hands-on experience with cold and/or hot side commercial kitchen equipment
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicle may be provided)
