The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Asphalt Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team in Alexandra, Otago. As an integral part of the laboratory operations, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing on asphalt and materials, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout all projects.

What You'll Do

• Carry out laboratory and field testing of asphalt and related materials
• Perform real-time quality assurance during construction processes
• Analyze test results to provide accurate reports for project management
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy in testing
• Collaborate with the team to resolve any issues that may arise during testing

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience as an Asphalt Laboratory Technician or a similar role
• A strong understanding of asphalt and materials testing procedures
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment for various tests
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data recording
• Strong communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members
