Position Summary
Rural King is seeking a Human Resources Lead to support store-level human resources operations and create a positive associate experience. This role partners with store leadership to support recruiting, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, training, benefits administration, performance management, and associate engagement.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Partner with store leadership to drive the recruitment process for new hires
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all new associates
- Maintain positive employee relations through open communication and conflict resolution
- Guarantee compliance with local, state, and federal HR regulations
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance associate skills and knowledge
- Administer benefits packages in accordance with company policies
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Engage associates through various initiatives aimed at improving morale and productivity
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in retail or related industries
- Strong understanding of HR compliance and regulations
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with associates and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience with HRIS systems, training software, and benefits administration tools
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred
