The Opportunity
Hyatt is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to join our team in San Diego. This full-time position offers the opportunity to assist Line Cooks and Food Runners with service needs, ensuring efficient kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Line Cooks and Food Runners with service needs.
- Wash all dishes, pots, pans, serviceware, and glassware effectively while minimizing breakage.
- Assist with food preparation as directed by chefs.
- Maintain and clean the kitchen, restaurant, and bar areas.
- Machine & manual wash all china, glass, silver, pots, pans, utensils, equipment (both portable and fixed).
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
