The Opportunity

Come join our collaborative and innovative team at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations! As a Substation Designer, you will be responsible for creating substation field construction and manufacturing shop drawings utilizing Autodesk Inventor. This role involves interfacing with the Company’s structural engineers and project managers. You will work in a dynamic environment that values teamwork while also requiring the ability to complete high-volume tasks independently.

Your Responsibilities

• Create substation field construction and manufacturing shop drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Interface with structural engineers and project managers as needed.
• Demonstrate the ability to read and understand layout and detail drawings and technical documents.
• Work effectively in a team environment while also being able to complete tasks independently.

Qualifications

• Experience with Autodesk Inventor for substation design.
• Aptitude for reading and understanding layout and detail drawings and technical documents.
• Ability to work in a team environment while also being able to complete tasks independently.
