Accountant

The Opportunity

Fivetran is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing support for financial reporting. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the world while contributing to Fivetran's mission of simplifying data access.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support the finance team in various administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

• Accredited accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with financial software and tools such as QuickBooks or similar systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
