PAYROLL AND ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST — Frontline Retail Regional QLD & NT, Darwin Region, Northern Territory

Role Overview

We are seeking a Payroll and Accounts Specialist to join our dynamic team at Frontline Retail Regional QLD & NT. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing as well as maintaining financial records and accounts.

What You'll Do

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and trial balances.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Support the finance team with other accounting duties as required.

What We're Looking For

• A degree or diploma in Accounting, Payroll, or a related field.
• Proven experience in payroll processing and accounts management within a retail environment.
• Familiarity with accounting software and payroll systems such as Xero or MYOB.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
