An opportunity has arisen for an office-based Accounts Assistant to join a small family business in Herne Bay on a part-time permanent basis. This position would suit someone with previous accounts experience, working on Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll, who enjoys working in a busy environment.

Core Duties

• Raise Sales Invoices and email to customers throughout the month
• Process Supplier Invoices for payment
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports as required
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in accounts and payroll, preferably using Sage software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
• Ability to work in a busy office environment with multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams
