About the Role
The Transmission Production Supervisor is a frontline operational leader responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of daily production activities within assigned transmission remanufacturing stations. This role serves as the primary leader and problem-solver for operators, ensuring that production goals are met through strong floor presence, clear expectations, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall performance of the production line.
- Provide clear guidance and direction to operators, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain open communication with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and resolve bottlenecks.
- Conduct regular floor inspections to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervisory roles within the automotive or related industries. A background in transmission remanufacturing is preferred but not required.
