Position Summary
The Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor at KINDHEARTED HEALTHCARE SERVICES INC is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy/counseling, and support services to adult consumers experiencing mental health challenges. This role requires a strong commitment to client care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy/counseling sessions in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Offer support services that enhance clients' coping skills, self-awareness, and overall well-being.
- Document client progress accurately and maintain confidentiality as per HIPAA guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- A licensed graduate professional counselor (LGPC) with a master's degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Active licensure as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor.
- Experience working with adult populations experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients in a professional setting.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in counseling.
