Key Responsibilities

• Create integrated logistics strategies that cover transport, warehousing, staging and last-mile delivery for large-scale events.
• Orchestrate vendor and partner networks so materials, equipment and personnel arrive on schedule and within budget.
• Own inventory control systems that track assets from origin through on-site deployment and return.
• Lead remote and hybrid logistics teams, clarifying priorities and removing obstacles during peak event periods.
• Build contingency and risk-management protocols that protect timelines when weather, capacity or border issues arise.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor spend to maintain cost efficiency without sacrificing service quality.
• Ensure every movement complies with safety, customs and environmental rules applicable to international and domestic event logistics.
• Partner with production, planning and client-facing teams so logistics decisions support overall event objectives.
• Apply data tools and performance metrics to refine routes, load factors and supplier outcomes after each event.

Qualifications

• Substantial senior experience directing logistics or supply-chain operations for large-scale events or comparable multi-location projects.
• Deep knowledge of freight modes, temporary warehouses, on-site handling and recovery processes used in major events.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams in remote and hybrid environments while maintaining high standards.
• Skilled use of logistics platforms, inventory systems and project-tracking tools to maintain visibility and control.
• Strong negotiation, budgeting and analytical capabilities that deliver reliable results under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply-chain management, business or equivalent career track record.
• Clear written and verbal communication suited to coordinating stakeholders across the UK and United States time zones.
