Role Overview
As a Grocery Stocker at Brookshires in Whitehouse, TX, you're the backbone of store operations. What You'll Do
- Stock shelves, displays, and promotional end-caps with grocery merchandise
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and condition
- Practice proper FIFO rotation to maintain product freshness and integrity
- Apply pricing and product labels according to store standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and aisles
- Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to management
- Assist customers with product location and store inquiries
- Follow all company procedures and safety protocols
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds on a regular basis
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout your shift
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Detail-oriented approach to merchandising and store presentation
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
