SharePoint Developer

SOSi is hiring a SharePoint Developer for our Fort Belvoir, VA office to build and maintain enterprise collaboration solutions. This full-time position offers the opportunity to architect scalable SharePoint applications using modern Microsoft technologies while supporting a mission-focused organization.

What This Role Involves

As a SharePoint Developer at SOSi in Fort Belvoir, you'll design, develop, and deploy customized SharePoint solutions that enable secure information sharing and content management across the organization. You'll work with the latest Microsoft 365 platform capabilities to create seamless digital experiences, integrate enterprise systems, and optimize SharePoint infrastructure for performance and security. Your work will directly impact how teams collaborate and share knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize SharePoint sites, web parts, and workflows using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), C#, and PowerShell
• Build solutions for SharePoint Online and hybrid SharePoint environments within Microsoft 365
• Design and implement data models, custom applications, and extensions that meet business requirements
• Manage SharePoint administration, governance, permissions, and content organization
• Integrate SharePoint with enterprise systems, REST APIs, Azure services, and third-party applications
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, performance problems, and security concerns
• Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience developing on SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019, or SharePoint Online
• Proficiency in C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Hands-on experience with the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and modern development practices
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Azure, and Microsoft 365 services
• Understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data architecture
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative technical team
• Clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
