Professional Unarmed Security Officer – North Houston

Marksman Security LLC is hiring Full Time Professional Unarmed Security Officers for positions in North Houston. We're seeking dedicated security professionals to maintain the highest standards of protection and service at our client locations.

About the Role

This is a client-facing position that demands professionalism, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to guest and resident satisfaction. As a security officer, you'll be the visible guardian of safety at our properties while delivering the hospitality and attention to detail our clients expect. You'll work flexible schedules including evenings, nights, and weekends to ensure round-the-clock protection.

What You'll Do

• Greet and assist building occupants, vendors, and visitors with directions, information, and courteous customer service
• Document arrivals, departures, incidents, and package deliveries in detailed shift logs and records
• Manage authorized entry and prevent unauthorized access for tenants, guests, and service personnel
• Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular property patrols to deter theft and maintain a secure environment
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents, recording all relevant information for property and management review

Who We're Looking For

• At least 18 years old with a valid, active Level 2 Security License
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles such as security, door staff, front desk, hospitality, or administrative positions
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities
• High school diploma or GED
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work varied hours including evenings, overnights, and weekends
• Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds, walk patrols, climb stairs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Clear background check and negative drug screen result
• Bilingual proficiency is a valuable asset
