Maintenance Technician (EPA Certified) – Seasonal Temp Full Time

Join Weinstein Properties as a full-time Maintenance Technician (EPA Certified) for a summer position at our Abbington West End community in Henrico, VA, where you'll support property operations while gaining valuable experience in residential maintenance management.

The Opportunity

This is a temporary full-time role running through August at a well-maintained residential community in the Richmond area. We're seeking an EPA-certified maintenance professional to strengthen our team during the busy summer season. While structured as a time-limited assignment, exceptional performers have the potential to transition into permanent roles if opportunities align. You'll receive competitive hourly pay, with three milestone bonuses available for completing the full summer term.

Responsibilities

• Execute turnovers and make-ready processes on vacant residential units
• Address maintenance work orders and coordinate priorities with the team
• Perform daily grounds upkeep and landscaping maintenance across the community
• Maintain amenities, pool areas, and common spaces to high standards
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure reliable property operations

Who We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of practical apartment or residential maintenance experience
• Current EPA certification (Type II or Universal) with demonstrated HVAC diagnostics and repair capability
• Strong customer service values and genuine pride in workmanship
• Self-directed work style balanced with solid team collaboration skills
• Adaptability in fast-moving environments with shifting task demands
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Proficiency operating golf carts, hand tools, and power tools
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and work across indoor and outdoor settings
• Comfort navigating computers, mobile devices, email platforms, and maintenance work order systems
• Willingness to complete a background check
