PolicyStreet is hiring a full-time ASP.NET Software Developer to join our Kuala Lumpur office. You'll design, develop, and maintain robust applications using the Microsoft.NET framework, contributing directly to products that impact our users.
Position Summary
We're looking for a skilled ASP.NET Software Developer to build and enhance our application platform. You'll work with modern development practices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and take ownership of features from concept through delivery. This is an opportunity to grow your technical expertise whilst making meaningful contributions to a technology-driven organisation based in Kuala Lumpur.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy ASP.NET applications and services
- Write clean, maintainable code following established coding standards
- Collaborate with product, design, and fellow engineering teams on feature implementation
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Qualifications
- Professional experience developing applications with ASP.NET, C#, or the Microsoft.NET ecosystem
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
