Director of School Operations

RePublic Schools seeks a part-time Director of School Operations at our Ridgeland location in Madison County. This 12-month position offers an opportunity to drive operational excellence across one of the South's most innovative public school networks.

About This Position

As Director of School Operations, you will serve as the operational backbone of our Ridgeland campus, reporting directly to the Principal. This part-time role is integral to ensuring smooth daily operations, coordinating resources, managing logistics, and supporting the school's mission to deliver transformational educational experiences. Your work will directly enable our educators to focus on student learning while you handle the critical systems and processes that keep our school running efficiently.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee campus facilities, maintenance, and safety protocols to ensure a secure learning environment
• Manage budget allocation, procurement, and vendor relationships aligned with school priorities
• Coordinate scheduling for classes, events, and space utilization across the campus
• Lead logistics planning for school events, professional development days, and student activities
• Collaborate with instructional staff to remove operational barriers to teaching and learning
• Track and report on operational metrics and improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and safety standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in school operations, facility management, or educational administration
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with educators and staff
• Experience with budget management and cost-effective resource allocation
• Knowledge of school safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with school management systems
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
