Specialty Dr in Psychiatry Required for Liaison Role in North West England

Responsibilities

We are representing a mental health organization in North West England seeking a Specialty Doctor for their adult liaison psychiatry team. In this full-time locum position, you will deliver high-quality psychiatric care to adults presenting in a liaison setting. You will work 37.5 hours per week as part of a supportive clinical team, conducting assessments, managing acute presentations, and collaborating with medical colleagues across the hospital environment. This role requires excellent clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.

What We're Looking For

• GMC registration (essential)
• Section 12 approval under the Mental Health Act
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a psychiatry position
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Specialty Doctor grade or equivalent experience in adult psychiatry
• Experience or interest in liaison psychiatry is highly desirable
