Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential communications agency in Kiel seeking an experienced Communications Strategist. In this role, you will develop comprehensive communication and campaign strategies across all channels—from initial situation analysis through positioning, core messaging, and action planning. You will serve as the strategic interface between clients, internal teams, and implementation, ensuring that strategy, social media, creative work, and production integrate into a consistent overall communications approach. You will transform analyses into sound recommendations and guide stakeholders through workshops to achieve concrete results.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Developing communication, brand, and campaign strategies across all channels
• Analyzing initial situations, target audiences, markets, and channels as the foundation for strategic recommendations
• Designing, preparing, and moderating workshops and enablement formats—including documented outcomes
• Translating strategy into execution: social media, campaigns, and formats aligned with clear objectives
• Data-driven management: KPI definition, reporting, and evaluation
• Direct client advisory—working with public sector organizations as well as political entities
• Project ownership from conception to results, including during intensive project phases

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of agency experience—ideally in strategic communications, campaigns, or consulting
• Strong analytical and structuring capabilities: ability to grasp complex contexts, distill them to essentials, and translate into recommendations
• Confident presence in group settings: ability to design, moderate, and guide workshops to results
• Strong writing skills and conceptual strength
• Independent, structured working style and enthusiasm for an environment with short decision-making paths
• Political interest is a plus; party affiliation is not required
• Experience with AI tools in the communications process is advantageous
• German language proficiency required for this role
