Responsibilities

As part of our client's IT support team, you will serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day IT questions and technical issues. You'll support employees with hardware and software problems, ensuring they can continue working with minimal disruption.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing and maintaining workplace systems and mobile devices, including setting up new workstations, software installations, updates, and device exchanges
• Supporting the Microsoft 365 environment, managing user accounts, groups, permissions, and devices in Entra ID and Intune
• Handling recurring administrative tasks related to Active Directory, network systems, telephony, and mobile communications
• Documenting incidents and solutions, creating guides and process documentation that others can easily understand and follow
• Participating in IT projects and system changes, including rollouts, device migrations, and implementation of new applications
• Coordinating with colleagues and external IT partners on more complex technical matters
• Optionally contributing to process improvements through automation using PowerShell, Power Automate, or Power Apps

What We're Looking For

We're representing a confidential organization in Germany seeking an IT Support Specialist who enjoys helping colleagues solve technical challenges while explaining complex topics in accessible terms.

Requirements:

• Practical experience in IT support, system administration, or the Microsoft 365 environment (gained through formal training, comparable qualifications, or relevant work experience)
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, and workplace system support
• Additional experience with Intune, Entra ID, Active Directory, VMware, Veeam, or networking is advantageous but not required in all areas
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent requests while maintaining structure and reliability
• Team-oriented mindset combined with independent work capabilities
• Enthusiasm for learning new systems and applications, with willingness to develop skills in emerging technologies
• Collaborative approach with commitment to mutual support and finding effective solutions together
• German language proficiency required for this position in Landau
