Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization in Dresden seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Software Architect. In this role, you will:

• Develop and evaluate software architectures for complex embedded and communication systems
• Analyze existing system landscapes and develop future-proof architectural concepts for networked systems
• Design hardware-oriented software solutions while considering requirements for performance, resources, and real-time capabilities
• Develop reusable software components, platforms, and interfaces for scalable and sustainable system solutions
• Contribute your technical expertise to research and development projects while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams and project partners

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
• Professional experience as a Software Architect, Embedded Software Developer, or Software Development Engineer, ideally in the embedded systems domain
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Solid understanding of hardware-oriented software development and embedded systems
• Knowledge of networked systems, real-time applications, and common operating systems and hardware platforms is advantageous
• Fluent German and good English language skills
• Analytical thinking with a structured, independent, and team-oriented working style

Location: Dresden with flexible working arrangements including partial home office options. This is a full-time position.
