Responsibilities

• Educate and collaborate with customers to design customized database solutions that address their specific business and technical requirements
• Drive proofs of concept, pilots, challenges, and technical evaluations, working hands-on with customer teams
• Work closely with customers' technical stakeholders including architects, developers, PMOs, and C-level executives to ensure successful outcomes
• Understand, quantify, and verify customer business needs and use cases
• Collaborate with Sales teams to develop effective account strategies and identify expansion opportunities
• Present technical capabilities and solutions in a professional, engaging manner that demonstrates business impact and competitive advantages
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on customer insights and real-world implementation experiences

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering for enterprise software, ideally with database technologies
• Hands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux environments
• Proven experience working with scalable and highly available distributed systems
• BS in Computer Science, BA, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage technical and business audiences
• Team player who collaborates effectively across functions
• Ability to travel regularly to customer sites
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Creative problem-solver who listens carefully and maintains focus on customer business objectives
