Trainee PR / Corporate Communications (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential communications agency in the Rhein-Neckar metropolitan region. Our client is seeking a Trainee in PR and Corporate Communications to join their team in Mannheim. This role offers recent graduates the opportunity to build foundational consulting skills while working across multiple communications disciplines.

As a trainee, you will be embedded in client projects from day one, gaining hands-on experience in PR, content marketing, corporate communications, online marketing, and social media. This structured program is designed to develop your capabilities through mentorship, workshops, and real client work, with the intention of transitioning successful trainees into junior consultant roles.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the full spectrum of communications services including PR, content marketing, corporate communications, online marketing, and social media
• Learn to provide strategic counsel to clients that drives measurable results
• Take on early responsibility supporting client success initiatives
• Participate in workshops and training sessions to build core competencies
• Utilize modern AI tools for research, content drafting, and content format development
• Collaborate closely with experienced mentors throughout your development
• Contribute to both print and digital communication projects for clients across technology, industrial, and consumer sectors

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in media, communications, or a comparable field
• Initial experience in corporate communications through internships or working student positions at agencies or companies
• Strong comfort with digital formats, social media platforms, and current trends
• Writing experience and genuine enthusiasm for content creation
• Team-oriented mindset with an open and curious approach
• Fluency in German required for this role
• Located in or willing to relocate to Mannheim, Germany
