Eventmanager (m/w/d)-PSD Dome Düsseldorf

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential venue operator in Düsseldorf for a key event management position. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of diverse events including sports fixtures, concerts, corporate functions, and special occasions at a major multi-purpose arena.

Your responsibilities include:

• Serving as the central point of contact for event organizers, external service providers, and internal departments including catering, technical operations, security, and cleaning teams
• Creating and monitoring detailed run-of-show schedules, timelines, and budgets for individual events
• Managing external vendors and partners before, during, and after events to ensure seamless delivery
• Ensuring smooth on-site operations and conducting post-event debriefs and evaluations
• Collaborating closely with the venue team to continuously improve standards and operational processes

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a candidate with:

• Completed education or degree in event management, hospitality, venue management, or comparable qualification
• Professional experience organizing events, ideally within sports, concerts, trade shows, or large-scale venue operations
• Strong organizational skills, resilience under pressure, and composure during high-attendance events
• Excellent communication abilities when working with organizers, service providers, and colleagues
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends according to the event calendar
• Proficiency with MS Office; Class B driving license advantageous
